this was the first song i heard by tv girl – provided to me by spotify’s algorithm – and i ran to turn the whole album on, just to discover this was a collection of unused tracks (“outtakes”) from a more popular album.
don’t tell tv girl, but… i preferred the outtakes! 🤫
this song has everything i love: electronica, horns, swooping instrumentals, romance, and a monotone singer. i still can’t believe it didn’t make it onto the main album!
